Collab’s Final Two Annual Contests Announced

Collab is excited to announce the opening of our final two contests of the year.

The FINAL THOUGHTS Contest is our biggest writing contest of the year. This contest is open solely to seniors, and there are no restrictions on form, quantity or content in the submissions. The single best piece (poem, story, non-fiction, translation, etc) will be declared our winner and the writer will receive a $30 gas card at Hess. The winner will also be enshrined for all time in the plaque in the English Hall. Our runner-up and second runner-up will receive discounts on their prom ticket and their yearbook, respectively. This contest will remain open until the Monday after Midterms.

Collab is also reintroducing our annual music contest. We did not receive enough submissions last year to hold the contest, but any musician (solo or in a band) who wishes to submit any original music may do so between now and the Monday after February break. The top entries will be compiled into an album that will accompany our 2013 magazine.

Just a reminder, the art contest is still open, and we encourage more of your submissions!

See Mr. Lally with any questions, or send him any submissions in any of these three categories.

Good luck!
