Collab Earns First Place in the American Scholastic Press Award

The results from the 2014 American Scholastic Press Awards for excellence in literary magazines have just come in, and Collab is excited to announce that they have earned a First Place award in the High School Literary Magazine category, scoring 910 out of a possible 1000 points from the judges. Only three schools in the state earned this accolade, which is the second-highest award given by the ASPA (only the “First Place with Special Merit” is higher, and only one Massachusetts school, and only 41 schools nationwide earned that honor this year). This entry was Collab’s return to the ASPA competition after a seven-year absence, and marks the sixth time that Collab has earned First Place.

Congratulations to the editors for their hard work!
