The results from the NCTE competition for Excellence in Student Literary Magazines posted today, and Collab once again finds itself honored to be rated the top literary magazine in Massachusetts. The 2014 edition of Collab earned a rating of Superior, and was recommended for the contest’s Highest Award. Only two other magazines in the state, and only seven magazines in all of New England earned this recommendation. This year, only one New England magazine received the contest’s Highest Award.
Since 2008 (and perhaps longer – the NCTE website only gives results going back to 2008), no high school magazine in Massachusetts has been recommended for the contest’s Highest Award in two consecutive years.
Congratulations to the editing staff for their continued success in these national competitions!
